It was worth the wait – this happy couple had the sweetest day.
If ever there was a perfect symbol for a New Zealand wedding day, this is it. The top table centrepiece for Wendy Petrie’s marriage to long-time love Ross Peebles is a koru fern, bursting into full-fronded beauty. As they said their vows on the lush green hillside at Mudbrick Vineyard on Waiheke Island, Wendy and Ross’ relationship blossomed, like the koru, into a glorious new phase. Wearing a figure-hugging mint-green Jane Yeh silk gown, with tiered layers of Chantilly lace around the bust and hem and jewelled shoestring straps, Wendy looked gorgeous as she stepped up a petal-strewn stone staircase towards Ross.
